Stamina Management Guide
Verified stamina mechanics plus a practical observation method, without a made-up universal formula.

What stamina controls
Stamina limits active run time. It drains while you play, and the run ends when the hand becomes too tired to keep smashing. That makes stamina both a survival resource and a measurement boundary.
Separate capacity, drain and recovery
Three different questions often get collapsed into “more stamina”:
- How much stamina can the run hold?
- How quickly does it drain?
- What restores it during the run?
The verified skill branches address capacity or recovery, slower drain and faster swings as different effects. The Tourist is the named piggy directly described as restoring stamina when smashed. Those facts support a choice by problem, but not a universal best upgrade.
Observe one run cleanly
For a useful baseline, record:
- starting and ending cash;
- stamina used;
- duration in seconds;
- hits or smashes counted by the interface;
- any unusual event, such as finding The Tourist.
Enter the stable numeric observations in the Stamina & Income Calculator. It reports income per second, per stamina and per hit. If a denominator is zero, the rate stays unavailable rather than pretending the result is zero.
Compare like with like
A higher cash total can come from more time, more stamina, different piggy spawns or random loot. When comparing a skill choice, keep as many conditions similar as practical and record more than one run. The Run Comparison Tool is deliberately neutral: it shows rates from your entries and does not label a build globally best.
Use the Piggy Types Database to recognize The Tourist, or the Skill Branch Database to find the branches that affect the stamina problem you observed.
