Maxed Out Achievement Guide

What to do when the visible tree looks complete but the achievement still has not unlocked.

What Maxed Out actually requires

Maxed Out unlocks when you buy all skill tree upgrades. It is not a reward for filling only the portion of the tree that happens to be available when you first check it.

If the tree looks complete but the achievement is still open, keep the current playthrough going. Missing upgrades remain purchasable while you continue, as long as you have not declared bankruptcy in that attempt.

Completion route

  1. Open the skill tree and buy every upgrade currently available.
  2. Continue the same playthrough instead of treating the first full-looking view as the end of the task.
  3. Do not declare bankruptcy while you are trying to purchase the remaining upgrades in that playthrough.
  4. Reopen the tree as play continues and buy every upgrade that is still available.
  5. Check Maxed Out in the Achievement Database, then mark it in the local Achievement Checklist when it unlocks.

The important distinction is between the tree you can currently see and every upgrade required by the achievement. Continuing is the supported response when the first view looks finished too early.

Do not use a photographed node count

This guide deliberately does not publish a total node count, fixed cost list, or a screenshot-based path. The visible tree, balance, and costs can change, and a photographed build does not prove a permanent full-release catalog.

If you still need to decide which branch solves the current run problem, use the Skill Tree Guide. That page compares damage, stamina, drain, speed, luck, and chained hits without pretending one route is a universal best build.

If the achievement still does not appear

First confirm that no purchasable upgrade remains in the continuing playthrough. A platform-level achievement-sync problem is a separate issue; the current evidence does not support a universal reinstall, launch-option, or save-file fix, so this page does not prescribe one.
