Coin Flip & Double or Nothing Guide

A bounded risk guide for Coin Flip and going all in, without invented luck modifiers or winning systems.

The current coin-flip rule

The full-release coin flip is a 50/50 physics outcome. Each flip is a new result: a streak of losses does not make the next flip owed to you, and a streak of wins does not make the next one safer.

That makes Double or Nothing a risk decision, not a hidden build check. You can finish other tasks without treating a coin flip as required income.

Protect the run before you bet

Use this order before choosing a stake:

  1. Read the next bill and the cash currently available.
  2. Set aside the amount you refuse to risk for the bill and your chosen reserve.
  3. Treat only the remaining cash as a possible stake.
  4. Decide before the flip whether losing that entire stake would end the run.
  5. If the loss would remove your bill money, leave the gamble for another run.

The Bill Planner can separate bill money, optional spending, and a reserve without assuming a game formula.

Two achievements, two exact tasks

Achievement Visible condition What to do
50/50 Win a coinflip Win one coin flip. The condition does not require a streak or a particular stake.
All or Nothing Go all in on a gamble Choose an all-in gamble. The condition describes the stake decision, not a guaranteed win.

Do not assume one successful flip automatically completes both tasks. Check the Achievement Database for the exact condition that is still open.

What this page does not assume

There is no closed rule here that makes the skill-tree Luck branch, a run perk, or a previous result change the coin flip. There is also no winning pattern based on alternating outcomes. If the game later changes the flip or adds a modifier, that needs a fresh rule rather than a retroactive guess.
